Leona Lewis returned to the X Factor tonight to perform her new single ‘One More Sleep’.
The 2006 winner of the show has released her first Christmas album from which the single was taken. Her new track will directly compete with the release of the winner of the show this year, and it might not be uncomfortable news for the X Factor boss Simon Cowell.
This week Leona told The Daily Star: “I know that whoever wins The X Factor will be Christmas No 1, bec¬ause the show is so huge.
“But now I’ve got a Christmas song out, I’m thinking: ‘No, why does it have to be The X Factor?
“Stop it and give the traditional Christmas songs a chance.’”
