X Factor judge Tulisa who is mentoring the groups this year, a task for some reason she has taken to with lots of enthusiasm – historically most of the groups are kicked out within a couple of weeks of the live shows. With an act from this category having never won the show before, Tulisa claims to have done something very unique with the acts this year…
Speaking to STV, Tulisa said:
“Every single one of them has the potential to go all the way. If they didn’t I wouldn’t have put them through,” she explained. “Hopefully I can bring the best out in all of them… What we want this year is something new and something fresh with the bands.
“We’ve seen it all before, we’ve seen the boybands, we’ve seen the girlbands, what we need is something different.
“Hopefully they’re not going to let us down, they’re not going to let me down now and they’re going to do something unique.”
And Tulisa is so confident she has a winner amongst her final four, she added there wouldn’t be any medalling from her: “I don’t want to change them.
“I don’t wanna turn around and say to them ‘I want you to be this I want you to be that.’
“I want them to tell me who they are individually and I wanna take that, blend it together into a big explosion and make a hit band.”
Could she be planning a mixed group? Tune in to ITV on Saturday night to find out.
