2011 X Factor Final Duets: Little Mix and Tulisa took on Alicia Keys

Little Mix teamed up with their mentor Tulisa Contostavlos tonight to perform a duet that was one of the standout performances of the night.

The girl group took to the Wembley Arena stage with Tulisa and in front of an audience of 10,000 people, performed a mashup of Alicia Keys hit songs ‘If I Ain’t Got You’ and ‘Empire State of Mind.’

Tulisa started the rendition with the slower song, showcasing her  impressive vocals, but Little Mix was not outdone, they stepped up to the plate and impressed too.

Things then got a bit more uptempo and the ladies’ take on ‘Empire State of Mind’ was just as impressive as the first section of the mashup.

After their performance, Tulisa said:

“It’s been an amazing experience, I really have met true, genuine and honest friends. They deserve this more than anyone I know.”

Jade Thirlwall added:

“We wouldn’t have wanted to duet with anyone else. It has been the most amazing day of our lives and we loved doing it with Tulisa!”
