Britain's Got Talent Semi Finals

Cartel Street dance crew semifinals performance on Britain’s Got Talent 2014 turned the tables on Simon Cowell

Cartel dance crew from Northamptonshire, have been dancing together for 18 months. The crew members – Jamie, 27, Ed, 18, Steven, 19, Jordan, 18 and Daniel, 16 – made it to the BGT semifinals despite Simon Cowell original objection.

During their first audition they caused debate between the judges when Simon suggested they should continue in the competition without one of the members, Jamie. However David, Alesha and Amanda defending the group as a whole and sent them through to the next round with 3 yeses.

Tonight they return to the Britain’s Got Talent stage to prove a point to Mr. Cowell and hopefully dance their way into the Britain Got Talent finals.

After their performance, these are the judges comments:

David Walliams: You have made me so happy tonight. You proved him wrong! The truth is Jamie, you are a fantastic dancer. That was a dynamite routine.

Alesha Dixon: I don’t want to be the party pooper because it is lovely to see you back but you were lagging at points Jamie. For me the choreography and the dancing wasn’t at the level I would want to see.

Amanda Holden: I was planning all these speeches in my head but it was one of my happiest moments when you came back. There was a hole Jamie and you deserved that place and I really enjoyed it.

Simon Cowell: I was just trying to do my job and you are like the Rocky of the dance world. I still think it’s better to be behind the scenes sometimes Jamie rather than in the spotlight. You’d be a great choreographer and manager.
