Britain’s Got Talent 2014 second two acts to make it through to the live Final are James Smith and The Addict Initiative

After another entertaining night on the second semifinals of Britain’s Got Talent, the results are in. James Smith and Addict Initiative are the next two acts through to the live final.

After Ed Sheeran performed his new single ‘Sing’, hosts Ant and Dec announced that singer James Smith had won the public vote and booked his spot in the live final.

They then announced that fellow singer Jodi Bird and dance troupe The Addict Initiative had received the next most votes from the public and that the judges would decide which would be joining James in the final.

David Walliams: “This is the worst part of the show. Two incredible acts… I’m putting through the Addict Initiative.”

Alesha Dixon said: “I think both acts should be in the final, I loved Jodi but I’m going with The Addict Initiative.”

Amanda Holden said: “I absolutely adored Jodi so my vote is with Jodi.”

With the casting vote, Simon Cowell said: “The act I’m putting through is… the Addict Initiative.”
As a result, the Addict Initiative joined James in the live final, alongside Collabro and Darcy Oake.
