Amelia Lily opened the X Factor first live show of the series and impressed the judges with her performance.
The 16 year old Lily took on ‘Billie Jean’ by Michael Jackson but gave it a more upbeat and contemporary edge. It was a very energetic performance from her and her backing dancers, but for us it was good but not great.
Before she sang, Kelly Rowland admitted that she had high hopes for the pink haired beauty, confessing:
“Amelia is so ready and even at sixteen, she’s my little pop star!”
