2011 Live Show 1: Garry Barlow Not Impressed By 2 Shoes Girls Aloud Rendition

2 Shoes left Gary Barlow unimpressed with their rendition of Girls Aloud ‘Something Kinda Ooooh’.

2 Shoes – Lucy Texeira and Charley Bird – took to the stage in a bright pink car that Johnny might have been happy to drive them in.

The performance was definitely a bit camp but it was fun and entertaining and perhaps did not really deserve the hash critique from Mr Barlow (even though a part of me think he might have been right). But hay! It’s the first show so give the girls a chance to let their hair down.

2 Shoes’ energy was infectious and beyond all the pink, they are actually very good singers.

JUDGES COMMENTS:

Gary Barlow: I wanna be nice, I just wannabe nice but girls karaoke night in Romford. I’m sorry Tulisa, I get the car, the dancers to try to disguise the fact that we’ve actually got two really mediocre singers but I don’t get this relationship, you with these girls.

Tulisa Contostavlos: You don’t know how to have fun Gary. Shoes, you are all about the fun and the Essex, which is huge at the moment, it#’s so current. You came up and brought the fun but you can sing as well.
