The first X Factor live show kicks off tonight and each week we will try to bring you the list of songs the contestants will be performing a head of the live shows.
This week’s theme will be UK VS US – a bit of a strange one if you ask me – but the contestants are likely to have a wide variety of songs to choose from.
They will have to choose wisely because this week it was revealed that the BIG TWIST for the first live show will involve each of the four judges choosing only three of their four acts to take through to next week, therefore four will leave the competition on Sunday night.
With only one chance to shine before their mentors decide their fate, we have outlined below the songs we have heard about that the contestant will be singing in tonight’s show. We will update the list through out the day as we learn more:
Frankie Cocozza – The A Team
Amelia Lily – Billie Jean.
James Michael – A Drop in the Ocean by Ron Pope.
2 Shoes – Something Kinda Ooh – Girls Aloud.
Johnny Robinson – Believe – Cher.
The Risk – She Said by Plan B.
Nu vibe – Beautiful People.
Rhythmix – Superbass by Nicki Minaj.
Craig Colton – Jar Of Hearts.
Marcus Collins – Moves Like Jagger by Maroon 5.
Janet Devlin – Fix You by Coldplay.
Misha Bryan – Rolling In The Deep by Adele.
Sophie Habibis – Teenage Dream.
Kitty Brucknell – Who Wants To Live Forever.
Jonjo Kerr – You Really Got Me.
Sami Brookes – Free.
Speaking about her song choice, Sophie Habibis said:
“It’s a lot slower and the tempo’s gone down a lot but it’s going to be lovely and really, really dreamy.”
Misha Bryan spoke about her saying:
“The original is done by one of the UK’s biggest artists. She’s also a song writer and is absolutely incredible.”
