Adam Lambert on The X Factor UK 2014 gives Paul Akister encouragement ahead of his performance of a Queen classic.
Paul sang ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ by Queen to open the X Factor live show, but during rehearsals, Paul was seen chatting to Adam on Skype seeking his advice on how to approach the song.
Adam told Paul: “Maybe you can experiment with being more over the top than you would ever be. Go to your Freddie Mercury place.”
In his pre performance VT Paul said:
“They maybe can’t tell I am loving it because of my straight face and monotone voice, but I really am loving it….This week I am going to take on Mel B’s advice. I do trust her.”
