Luke Friend has been dubbed the ‘dark horse’ of the X Factor competition this year following a string of wonderful and creative performances that eventually saw him through to the X Factor final.
The 17-year-old from Devon has not had an easy ride however; he ended up in the bottom two on two occasions and was saved by the judges both times.
Tonight, Luke takes to the X Factor stage on a Saturday night for the very last time this year, where he is hoping his performances will lead him to victory as the winner of the competition.
As well as his duet with Ellie Goulding, Luke will sing Fun’s ‘We Are Young’ and One Direction’s biggest hit ‘What makes You Beautiful’.
