Essex duo 2 Shoes surprised the judges at their X Factor audition with their vocals. The stereotypical Essex girls proved that they not only have style but they also know how to harmonize.

Speaking before their audition, the pair – Lucy Texeria, and Charley Bird – said: “We’re two shoes, and we’ve got a little saying… every party needs two shoes. Today’s audition is so important to us. We’d love to be the first group that wins the x factor. O M G!”

The duo then went on to surprise the panel with a brilliant performance.

Judges Comments

“I am really, really pleasantly surprised, that was a good audition,” Tulisa told them.

Gary agreed, saying: “You’re both looking gorgeous today. You came on with all the funny lines and I wasn’t expecting the worst, but I thought your voices were beautiful. What we got was really a great audition.”
Kelly Rowland however wasn’t as convinced, telling the pair: “I do still think it’s a bit karaoke for me.”

Louis Walsh added: “I was pleasantly surprised. I loved your personality and I loved the chemistry between you.”

The duo went through to bootcamp with three yeses from the panel.
