Speaking before their audition, the four piece said: “Destiny’s Child picked their name out of the bible, so we took an Atlas, opened up the index, put our finger in with our eyes closed and picked Bristol… but we chose Brooklyn right below it.”
They added: “We’ve known each for since young kids but the band has been together for about four months.”
Launching into a performance of Cee Lo Green’s Forget You, the response from the judging panel was not enthusiastic.
Asking for another song, the boys opted for an acapella rendition of Jason Derulo’s In My Head.

The group split the panel however, with Kelly and Tulisa arguing:
“It’s a lot to work on,” Kelly said.
“It was a bit pitchy at times, but that’s the beauty of being in a group,” Tulisa replied.
But Kelly hit back: “You’re only as strong as your weakest link.”
Tulisa continued: “I don’t think the weakest link is that weak it can’t be worked on.”
With the girls in disagreement, it was a tense vote, started by Kelly who said: “I’m looking for more, it’s a no guys.”
With yeses from both Louis and Tulisa, it was Gary Barlow who was left with the deciding vote, in the end putting the Brooklyn through on the promise they’d work hard to iron out the problems
