Lorna Simpson impressed the panel at her X Factor audition this year performing a Whitney Houston classic.
The 26 year old business and finance student from South London showed her range belting out one of Whitney’s most famous songs from the film The Bodyguard.
Before her performance she told the panel:
“I believe that I have that star quality and I am definitely confident.”
After wowing the judges with her vocals, Sharon Osbourne was full of praise and said:
“I think your voice is very strong, very good.”
Gary Barlow also loved the rendition and added:
“I loved it, it feels like you’ve been singing for 50 years. Well done.”
