21 year old Jeanette Akua from South Africa showed her star quality at The X Factor arena auditions this year in front of an audience of 4000 people.
The beauty consultant impressed the panel with her rendition of ‘Skinny Love’ by Birdy that led Gary Barlow to say he felt like he was in the ‘presence of a star.’
Jeanette told the panel that she was a member of the Kosa tribe in South Africa, revealing that her mother tongue is often called ‘click language.’
After the performance Louis Walsh said:
“You’ve got star quality.”
Sharon Osbourne said:
“You are a vision.”
Jeanette won four yeses from the panel and a place at bootcamp.
