The X Factor 2011: Max Mackay Audition

Max Mackay is one of a number of promising youngsters who tried out for the X Factor this year. He has the looks, the voice and the personality to go a long way in the competition; that is if he can survive bootcamp. This is where a lot of promising young acts get buried in the competition each year.

However, with so many young men going through to bootcamp, we might see another group like One Direction emerging.

Max impressed the judges at his audition with an excellent rendition of a John Legend classic.

Judges Comments

Kelly thinks the young contestant is “so cute” while Gary comments that he has a “nice voice, nice tone”. Louis also gives Max the compliment of telling him he has “the “likeability” thing – something which can help a singer go a long way on The X Factor.
