Cheryl Cole hits out at Louis Walsh for taking cheques

Cheryl coleCheryl Cole has hit out at her former manager and X Factor judge Louis Walsh for his management style, claiming all he did was take the cheques!

Back in 2002 Louis Walsh charted the success of Girls Aloud after they won Popstars: The Rivals, but in 2005 Cheryl and her band mates sacked him.

Speaking to Marie Claire this week, Cheryl hit out at the music mogul:

“We never had management. Louis claimed to be our manager but he never did it. We didn’t talk to him or anything like that. He just took a cheque,” Cole explained.

She went on: “Zero involvement. Oh yeah, he took the cheques, I told you.”

However, Cole admits she still does talk to Louis since leaving The X Factor, saying: “I talk to him because now I get that business is business and that’s how he runs his.”

However, Cheryl could not resist having another dig at Louis, she added: “But he never chose a hit.

“Who chose them? Us. It could be the key to our longevity because it was genuine – we never had media training. Everything was raw and real. The only thing that was different was that we were put together through that process.”
