2011 X Factor Final Duets: Marcus Collins and Gary Barlow sing ‘Always a Woman’

Marcus Collins performed with his mentor Gary Barlow for the first time on The X Factor singing Billy Joel’s ‘She’s Always a Woman’ for the 10,000 strong audience at Wembley.

 The Liverpudlian singer admitted that he was dedicating the song to his mum, to show his gratitude for all the sacrifices she made for him since he was a child.

The song started with Gary on the piano and wearing one of his trademark velvet blazers. Marcus soon joined him and we have to admit, we got quite caught up in the emotion of the moment.

After the song Gary said:

“Honestly Marcus has been incredible, one of the great things about him is he listens. he takes on board what you have to say and comes back even better. he has done that for ten weeks running.”

Collins added:

“It’s a dream come true, this has been unforgettable.”
