2011: X Factor song choice for week 8 live shows and Charity Single

Just when we were looking forward to Motown week, The X Factor bosses have changed the theme to ‘Heroes and Guilty Pleasures’ for tonight’s show.

It’s another wide theme, which means the contestants can sing almost anything, so there should be no excuses for poor song choices this week.

The contestants will be singing two songs each in tonight’s show and we will have the full list of songs later this afternoon when they are released.

However, this weekend is also the start of the X Factor charity campaign and the show has released the video for this year’s charity single ‘Wishing On A Star’ by Rose Royce. The track also features JLS and One Direction, their participation virtually guarantee the single will sell loads.
