2011 Week 7: Simon Cowell finally joins the Twitter revolution

Simon Cowell has finally decided to enter the twenty first century and jump on board the Twitter bandwagon.

The 52 year-old music mogul didn’t mince his words when he started chatting yesterday either.

The contestants on The X Factor USA are not only experiencing Simon’s harsh comments on the panel, but now online too.

Tweeting live throughout the latest show, Simon said: “Leroy-boring, Rachel-amazing, @la_reid is mad That’s not rock!”

And Simon’s fellow judges also found themselves on the end of his online critiques. “Drew was amazing. The girls @PaulaAbdul and @NicoleScherzy are threatened by her,” he added.

Former Britain’s Got Talent judge Piers Morgan also got a telling off from the music boss, with Cowell telling him: “look up the word deluded in your dictionary”.
