Britain's Got Talent Semi Finals

Luminites wowed with the Bee Gees classic track To Love Somebody at BGT 2013 third semi final

The Luminites took Britain’s Got Talent by storm at their first audition when they performed a Millie Jackson classic track. Tonight the four piece band did the same again with ‘To love Somebody’ by the Bee Gees.

Since their first BGT appearance the band has been trying to get accustomed to their new found fame. They have started to gather a large following on social media but they seem to still have their feet firmly on the ground.

Tonight their performance showed just how good they really are and we believe this group could follow in the footsteps of One Direction and become the biggest band in the world.

The judges and studio audience were on their feet following the Luminites performance.

David Walliams said: “Wow! We knew you were cool, we knew you were all very good-looking young people… I think you could be the ones to watch tonight, I really do.”

Alesha added: “There’s so many lovely elements about this group… Every single one of you has something special to offer. I think you’d fit into the music industry now seamlessly. I’m really excited to see what’s to come for your career.”

Simon Cowell concluded: “The Luminites have landed, right? I’ve got to be honest with you – most of tonight was like watching some insane amateur talent show at a holiday camp and then you guys come on and I think this will work in the real world. I don’t like to give comparisons because you’re original but you’re like a British Black Eyed Peas.”
