Britain’s Got Talent 2011 Live Final: Ronan Parke Wowed with Because Of You

Ronan Parke came into tonight’s Britain’s Got Talent final show, as the bookies favourite to win and he delivered a performance that justified his billing.

The twelve year old schoolboy launched into a performance of Kelly Clarkson’s ‘Because Of You’ and for us it was the perfect song choice. He connected with the song emotionally and showed us all his incredibly vocal range. After the week he has had, he should be very proud of his achievement tonight.

This is what the judges made of his performance:

Simon Cowell: “How you’ve coped with everything so well, at your age and then you come out on that stage with a big big song….you nailed it brilliantly.”

David Hasselhoff: “Ronan I actually wrote down, Ronan will win this competition if he nails it and buddy, you nailed it. It was perfect.”

Amanda Holden: “From the moment we set eyes on you, I knew there was magic about you. You are a gorgeous, gorgeous boy. You are a credit to your parents and to this show. You completely stormed that.”

Michael McInytre: “Ronan, seriously, that was perfect. I am such a great fan of yours and I was hoping you would do well. I was put at ease literally with the first note and I loved the song as well because it showed off how much strength you have in your voice.”
