Britain’s Got Talent 2011: Edward Reid Breath New Life Into Nursery Rhymes

Edward Reid from Scotland brought a new take on nursery rhymes to the Britain’s Got Talent audience when he sang rhymes like Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars and Old McDonald Had A Farm to Snow Patrol’s Run. The result; pure entertainment and comic genus.

The shy drama teacher has become a YouTube sensation after his nursery rhymes audition for ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent. Some are now calling him the new Susan Boyle after getting a big thumbs-up from the BGT judges.

The 35 year-old drama teacher from Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, said of his performance: “Best moment in his life, may never have happened.”
