Jamie Oliver giant Madras spiced lamb meatballs with lentils, mango chutney and rice recipe on Jamie’s One-Pan Wonders

Jamie Oliver served up tasty giant Madras spiced lamb meatballs with lentils, spinach, mango chutney, rice and yoghurt on Jamie’s One-Pan Wonders.

The ingredients are: olive oil, 1 x 400 g tin of lentils, 500 g lean lamb mince, 4 tablespoons Madras curry paste, 4 fresh red chillies, 1 mug of basmati rice (300g), 400 g frozen spinach, 6 teaspoons mango chutney and 4 tablespoons natural yoghurt.

  1. This recipe was a disaster. The meatballs fell apart. Also in Canada our frozen spinach has to be thawed out and then squeezed dry. I would not recommend anyone trying this recipe, as it was a complete disaster and was a waste of food – and lamb is not cheap.

  2. I found rice not soft enough at end of recipe cooking time, how much longer should I cook , I used basaltic rice, also meatballs fell apart, help please
