John Torode granola with honey, maple syrup and ginger recipe on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen

John Torode and Lisa Faulkner served up a tasty granola with honey, maple syrup, nuts, plums, cinnamon and ginger on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen.

The ingredients are: 225g rolled oats, 100g toasted wheat flakes cereal, 75g almonds, coarsely chopped, 50g mixed nuts, chopped, 60g sunflower seeds, 25g sesame seeds, untoasted, 60g light brown sugar, 1 tsp ground cinnamon, 2 tsp dried ground ginger, ½ tsp sea salt, 100g roughly chopped mixed dried fruit, e.g. mango, apricots, apples, pears, pineapple, roughly chopped, 40g honey, 100ml maple syrup and 10ml vegetable oil.

For the stewed plums: 600g blood red plums, 150g caster sugar, 2 vanilla beans, split, 200ml Greek style yoghurt and 2tsp ground cinnamon.

Strained Greek yogurt to serve.
