John Torode banana and coconut bread with maple syrup butter and cocoa nips recipe on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen

John Torode and Lisa Faulkner served up a delicious banana and coconut bread with cinnamon, maple syrup butter and cocoa nips on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen.

The ingredients are: 120g butter, 90g caster sugar, 90g soft brown sugar, 240g self raising flour, 40g Whole meal flour, 30 grs Coconut Flakes, lightly toasted, 2 eggs, 4 very ripe bananas, 1tsp Gr. Cinnamon, 1tbsp of honey and 1tbsp of maple syrup.

For the whipped butter: Butter, Maple Syrup and Cocoa Nibs.

Other Potential Toppings: Almond butter, Flaked almonds and A drizzle of maple syrup.
