John Whaite chicken soup with carrots and celery recipe on Steph’s Packed Lunch

John Whaite served up a tasty homemade chicken soup with parsnips, carrots and celery on Steph’s Packed Lunch.

The ingredients are; 2kg chicken legs, bones in and skin on, 3 onions, peeled and roughly chopped, 2 carrots, peeled and roughly chopped, 1 parsnip, peeled and roughly chopped, 3 sticks celery, roughly chopped, 3 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed, 4 bay leaves, Small handful broken pasta pieces, 1 bunch flat leaf parsley, finely chopped, 1 small bunch dill, finely chopped, 1 lemon, juiced, 2tbsp light brown muscovado sugar, Salt and pepper.
