Frankie Cocozza kicked things off on the first episode of the X Factor 2011 buy showing his bum to the X Factor judges.
The 18 year old cheeky chappy showed up in London earlier this year and told the judging panel that during an earlier holiday in Malia, he’d had the names of seven girls tattooed on his bum.
This revelation soon had the female members of the panel excited; Kelly Rowland gushed:
I can be eight – I’ll pay for it!
Once every one had calmed down, Frankie went on to sing a slow version of Amy Winehouse’s Valerie at the O2 venue and did well enough to impress the crowd and the judges.
Gary Barlow remarked:
“The stage presence, the Rod Stewart vocals, I think people are going to love you. Well done.”
Louis Walsh on the other hand thought Frankie was more like Robbie Williams but added ‘I think you’ve got a great kind of a rock voice…. You are a cheeky chappy!’
Admitting that she likes the ‘bad boys’, Kelly Rowland went on to say:
“I really like you, I like your whole vibe and I really do like the fact that you’ve got eight girl’s names tattooed on your butt. I think you bring something really refreshing to The X Factor.”
Tulisa Contostavlos thought it was quite ‘clear’, from the crowd’s reaction to Cocozza’s that the girls already ‘love’ him. She added:
“I think after that audition it’s about to get a whole lot worse.”
Four yeses later and Frankie had won himself a place in bootcamp. Check out the video below:
