2011: Gary Barlow worries about his X Factor boys singing but not their styling

Gary Barlow has admitted that he his happy with the way his X Factor boys are being styled but worry about their singing on Saturday nights.

The Take That star is mentoring Frankie Cocozza, Marcus Collins and Craig Colton in this year’s show.

Speaking to ITV, Gary said:

“I think they look great. I try and let them choose their own clothes. As artists they all know who they are, and it’s important they feel comfortable on stage!”

Barlow admitted that he does worry and suffer from nerves each Saturday and not just about how badly Cocozza is going to sing.

He added:

“As an X Factor judge and mentor, I worry every week for all the boys not just Frankie!

Nerves are not easy to stop. Though sometimes nerves are good if channelled positively, just not when they ruin your performance! I find it helps before I go stage to take some deep breaths.”

Tomorrow night Barlow’s X Factor boys will do battle with the other contestants in a Halloween theme night.
