Marcus came back with a band! This is what we were waiting for, Marcus doing an up tempo number to get us feeling good just like he did at his audition.
Last week hairdresser and good cook Marcus Collins, disappointed with his rendition of Rihanna’s ‘Russian Routlette’ and promised he would do a better job of connecting with the audience through his performance this week. For us and it would appear all the judges, he did just that.
He opened the show this evening, with his own take on Lenny Kravitz’s ‘Are You Gonna Go My Way,’ sporting his new hair do and a very sexy rock look to try to mirror Lenny Kravitz himself. Not sure if he quite succeeded but everything went down well on the night as he delivered a very energetic stage performance with real charisma. Check out his performance in the video below:

But watching that performance, complete opposite of this morning’s rehearsals. You were holding back, you absolutely blew me away. You were wild!
