X Factor pop duo 2 Shoes who were eliminated from the competition in the first week of the live shows, have landed a presenting gig on the ITV This Morning program.
The two lovely ladies from Essex, Charley Bird and Lucy Texeira, had hoped that the X Factor experience would eventually lead to a role for them in television, but could not have foreseen that it would start this early.
The duo will present updates from This Morning‘s The Hub during next Friday’s episode of the magazine show.
Matt Johnson revealed that the duo will be filling in for him in This Morning’s Hub, as he moves to the main studio to present the ITV daytime show with temporary co-host Kate Thornton.
“I love presenting The Hub, but to get out in to the main studio and present with a lovely lady like Kate is fantastic,” said Matt.
On Friday the 2 Shoes girls will read out messages from Twitter and Facebook users, as well as emails and texts from viewers as part of their duties.
