New X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos was very upset when her act Nu Vibe was voted out of the competition on last night’s results show, but it seem that was not all that was worring her.
Speaking after their exit, the 23-year-old admitted she had got “too emotionally attached” to her acts over the past few months.
Nu Vibe became the first act to be sent home from the show by the public vote, after losing out to Frankie Cocozza in the sing off.
Tulisa said: “It’s really hard and I said to the other judges that I got too emotionally attached.
“But I’m not regretting that because I got to know five lovely young boys, with a lot of talent and it was a pleasure being in their presence for this time.”
She added: “I hope to stay in touch with them afterwards.”
Fellow judge Kelly Rowland also struggled emotionally last night when making her decision to choose between Nu Vibe and Frankie.
She explained: “Between the two we had to make a decision and it was just really hard… really hard and I hate to see Tulisa going through all these tears. Now it’s got real, it’s very, very real now.
