2011: Janet Devlin wants to do an ‘up beat’ song in week 3

Janet Devlin suggested that she will up the tempo on next weeks show if she is still in the competition.

The 16 year old singer who’s grandfather past away last week, understandably gave an slightly subdued performance on Saturday singing Elvis’s ‘Can’t Help falling In Love With You’, but she promised to show a feistier side next week.

Speaking on The Xtra Factor, Devlin told Olly Murs and Caroline Flack:

“I have an upbeat song up my sleeve for next week if I get through.”

Olly Murs also asked if we could expect her to bust some moves on the live show, and she looked sheepish as she admitted:

“I can learn.”

We suspect whatever she does next week will be well worth waiting for.
