2011: X Factor babe Amelia Lily denies relationship with Frankie Cocozza

Eliminated X Factor contestant Amelia Lily, has denied press reports that she has had a romantic relationship with Frankie Cocozza.

It had been widely reported  that the two X Factor hopefuls had become close since moving into the show’s Hertfordshire mansion and have been enjoying late night dips in the pool and snogging sessions.

Speaking on This Morning today, the 16 year old insisted that she is just friends with the Brighton lad.

She told Phillip Schofield:

“I think the press just love to have the little romantic stories don’t they. I get on with Frankie, he’s a lovely lad but all of the lads are lovely and I wish him all the best.”

When Schofield asked directly ‘are you going out with Frankie?’ Amelia replied:

“I’m not no!”

Lily found herself eliminated from the X Factor last night, after a twist that made each judge dump one of their act from their own category.

Speaking afterwards, she warned other potential contestants to be aware of the huge pressure that comes with doing the show, saying:

“It’s a lot of pressure to take on and for any people out there who want to audition for The X Factor next year, prepare yourself for the amount of pressure and criticism and feedback that you’re going to get.”
