Tulisa Contostavlos said last night that she would find tonight’s decision an impossible task and tonight it showed.
The N-Dubz star looked very upset having to make her decision, and that decision was to send 2 Shoes home.
However, it was clear from last nights show that The Risk and Rhythmix had impressed on the night, with Gary Barlow naming the latter as the best girl group to ever have graced the X Factor stage and complimenting the boys harmonies performance.
Barlow and Rowland thought Nu Vibe didn’t gel well as a group and seemed irritated by what Gary called a ‘karaoke’ style performance by 2 Shoes.
A tear full Tulisa Contostavlos revealed her decision and said:
“Guys you can’t imagine what a hard decision this has been for me. I’ve spent the last 24 hours crying tears and pulling my hair out over the decision, because I’ve got to know all of you and you’re now my friends.”
She explained that she was predictably saving Rhythmix and The Risk and the third group she chose to take to next week’s show was boyband Nu Vibe. That meant that 2 Shoes had to go walking.
The Lucy wept as she told them:
“I can’t even find a reason to say why, I just had to pick one act and I’m so sorry girls. You girls, I class you as my friends now and I want to stay in touch with these girls.”
2 Shoes singer Charley Bird added:
“We are just so proud that we made it this far and this whole journey has been amazing and we are the best of friends and we’ve become even closer!”
