Overload generation boyband missed out on Judges Houses but return to The X Factor 2014 first Live Show as a wildcard thanks to Mel B.
Mel had to pick an Group for Louis and picked Overload. They said: “It was incredible, we didn’t have an inkling at all. It is the best feeling ever. We had started lining up gigs but we have had to cancel them now.”
The band returned with a name changed but faced a lot of criticism from the judges after their performance of the Katy Perry track.
The group is made up of Joseph, from Wales, Ollie from Bristol, Ryan and Jordi, who are both from Essex and Andy from Manchester.
Speaking about their comeback tonight, the lads said:
“When Louis called out our name and said we were going home, all five of our hearts just sunk.”
“It was shock and relief and excitement and we are so happy to be back. We want to prove we deserve it.”
“Our song is upbeat and fun and cheeky….we love it.”
