Monica Michael impressed at her X Factor audition earlier this year so much so that she made Cheryl cry during her audition.
The 24 year old youth worker from North London, sings an original song dedicated to her sister ‘Pretty Little Sister’ and admits that she went off the rails at the age her teenage sister is now and she’s keen to help her younger sibling avoid repeating her mistakes.
Michael explains:
“I have a younger sister called Natalie, the song I have written for today is actually for her. She witnessed me going off the rails and that affected her and if she did the things I did, it would break my heart.”
During her performance the song strikes a special chord with Cheryl and she confesses:
“You are just real and it touches me because my sister writes me poems and she has since I was little, so I completely relate to that song.”
