16 year old Lauren Nicole Platt delivered an impressive rendition of ‘I Know Where I Have Been’ by Queen Latifah at her X Factor audition.
The young student from Essex, wowed the panel with her performance to her surprise.
Speaking to the panel before delivering her rendition, Lauren explains why she chose to audition at such a young age:
“I do feel ready for it. I know a lot of people will say I’m really young and I’ve just done my GCSEs, I am only 16m but there isn’t anything more important than this audition and I can’t let it slip.”
After her performance, Simon Cowell told her:
“I think we may have found someone special with you. I am going to remember your name.”
