Robbie Williams surprised Gary Barlow’s X Factor boys group in more ways that one when he met them at judges houses for the first time. The pop superstar was dressed in leaves in a Sinitta like pose from two years ago.
The Take That member was in LA, to assist his bandmate Gary Barlow in whittling down his final eight contestants to just four, for the live rounds.
Willams appearance was perhaps exactly what – Marcus Collins, John Wilding, Joe Cox, Frankie Cocozza, Luke Lucas, Max Vickers, James Michael and Craig Colton, needed to relax them before the hard work began. I suspect they might also be damaged psychologically after shaking hands with a man wearing leaves stuck onto nude coloured boxers. But we should just let Gary Barlow worry about that.
It was an hilarious moment and was even more so when Williams laughed and said:
“I saw Sinnita in it and thought, that’s what I want to do! What do you reckon lads?”
Marcus was just un-phased by the outfit and just elated that they hadn’t been landed with the real Sinitta, while Frankie exclaimed:
“This is not happening, he’s not actually here!”
Joe Cox seemed stoked too and was in shock that he would be singing for Robbie. He raved:
“I honestly couldn’t have got any better than Robbie. I love him!”
