Ladies man Luke Lucas has said that he loved working with X Factor judge Gary Barlow at judges houses.
The sixteen year old singer managed to secure a place in Barlow’s final eight boys, after battling with the other contestants at bootcamp
He jetted off to LA, along with Joe Cox, Frankie Cocozza, John Wilding, Marcus Collins, Max Vickers, James Michael and Craig Colton just weeks later, where he was allowed two chances to perform for Gary and his Take That bandmate Robbie Williams and speaking about the experience, the talented teen told Phillip Schofield on This Morning:
“It was phenomenal, it was fantastic, just seeing all the places was wicked. Everyone dreams of going to LA.”
“Gary is fantastic, he’s so down to earth. He knuckled down, started speaking to us and gave us his honest opinion.”
Lucas aso admitted that didn’t enter the show himself and owes everything to a friend, who filled in a form online and put Luke’s name forward for audition. Revealing the true story behind his tryout, he said:
“It was my friend Jordan, I was on Xbox to him and he started speaking to me about it and I wasn’t sure if I wanted to go for it. It was so good, he put me on it and I didn’t think I would get as far as I did, but I tried so hard.”
