Nu Vibe is one of the groups formed by the X Factor judges at Bootcamp this year that made it through to judges houses.
The group is made up of five lads, Richard Milford, Stefan Romer, Bradley Johnson, Jordan Higo and Ashford Campbell. They were one of six new groups put together by the judges, after they failed to make it through as solo artists.
The boys had only a day to rehearse before performing in front of 5,000 fans at Wembley Arena on the last day of bootcamp, but they did enough to impress the judges to make it to the Judges Houses stage of the competition.
Bradley Johnson said before going out on stage: “When I thought I was going to be sent home I was just so gutted, heartbroken. Now it just makes me want it so bad. The amount of time we’ve had to practice and be together. We’ve totally took that and practiced so much and become best friends.”
The group sang Bruno Mars’s ‘Grenade’, which the judges considered a to be a great effort given the amount of time they had to rehearse .
“Well, for me that’s the surprise of the day,” remarked Gary after their performance.
Louis added: “They have the look. It’s only been 24 hours.”
