The Wanted returned to The X Factor tonight to perform their latest single ‘Show Me Love’ written by Nathan Sykes.
The track is taken from the band’s latest album ‘Word Of Mouth’ that band member Max George said recently had a number of tracks based on the members’ past experiences, especially around his relationship with his ex-fiancee Michelle Keegan.
The band are currently on their US tour but took time out to preform the new single on tonight’s show.
Recently X Factor contestants Kingsland Road told Capital Radio that the Wanted was one of their inspirations. They said:
“We aspire to them massively,” they explained. “They’re a cool band and we want to meet them.”
“The Wanted is a really big band to look up to for us. We inspire to be like them. They’re one of the best boybands out there at the minute and we can’t wait to meet them.”
After their performance on tonight’s show, The Wanted fly to Mexico to continue with the next leg of their tour.
