Scottish singer Nicolas Mcdonald will be hoping all of Scotland will get behind him in is bid to become the winner of The X Factor 2013.
Nicolas is one of the three boys in the boys category mentored by Louis Walsh this year; the other two boys being Sam Callahan and Nicolas Luke Friend.
The 16-year-old has impressed at every stage of the competition so far and he is hoping to do the same again tonight on the first X Factor live show singing ‘True’ by Spandau Ballet.
We enjoyed this rendition of the track but to be honest its to a song we particularly like, but it was well suited to his voice.
This is what the judges made of it:
NICOLE SCHERZINGER: I have always loved you….you are so effortless up there. Tonight is the first night I have noticed those baby blue eyes of yours though. Good job sweetie.
LOUIS WALSH: I am really glad to be your mentor….you are what this show is all about. Finding an unknown little kid with a whole lot of talent. I think you are going to be here for a long time and I am really happy I am your mentor.
GARY BARLOW: You have had limited experience, you are singing a song from a period you think is a period drama and you nailed it tonight. You have got everyone on your side….it’s loveability with this guy.
SHARON OSBOURNE: Did you say almost 16? You are such a darling! So talented! I am glad you are here! You’re confident and fabulous….I’ve got my eye on you.
Hy,
I am absolutely amazed by their voices. This is my top 3
1.Sam Bailey; 2. Nicholas McDonald and 3. Shelley Smith.
Good luck to everyone!
Bye,
Nicole
