ANDREA MAGEE in LA singing High and Dry by Radiohead at Judges Houses X Factor 2013

Andrea Magee is one of the most experienced and talented singers on The X Factor this season and booking her place at Sharon Osbourne’s Judges House in LA is a true reflection of her abilities.

Sharon seem to be a big fan too, speaking after bootcamp Osbourne revealed why she gave one of her spots to the Northern Ireland singer. She explained:

“I liked her because she is so different. I don’t think there has been anybody like her before that has got so far on X Factor.”

She added:

“Andrea, every time I have seen her has got better and better and more confident and her uniqueness comes through. Very talented but she’s got that little edge to her that I like. She stands out from the crowd.”

At Judges Houses Andrea sang ‘High and Dry’ for Sharon and Robbie, and wowed the pair not only with her voice but with her flute playing. After her rendition of the Radio Head track, Robbie said:

“She’s an artist”

However, Sharon decided not to take a chance on Andrea and told her:

“You are a very creative woman and a beautiful woman, however you are a niche artist…. I have made my decision and I am going to be sending you home. I am sorry.”
