Zoe Devlin wows at the X Factor arena with God Bless The Child by Billie Holiday

Singer Zoe Devlin from London, wowed the judges at her X Factor Wembley audition with a Billie Holiday classic track.

The 28 year old waitress and single mum have been singing professionally since the age of 14, but not only is she a brilliant singer, she is also a musician, able to play a range of instruments including guitar, piano and melodica. Zoe also writes , produces, and arranges her own music.

Zoe has also had recognition for her music from the likes of Alex James (Blur), Noel Gallagher , Lisa Stansfield… to name a few.

We didn’t get to see her first audition on Saturday, but she delivered a stunning performance of God Bless The Child by Billie Holiday in the arena in front of an audience of 4000 earlier this summer.

The audience loved the rendition, as do the judges and commenting on her look and her song choice, Take That star Gary Barlow raves:

“Zoe something so retro, you made it sound really contemporary. …Great!”
