Sam Bailey took The X Factor by storm at the weekend, setting the early pace as the bookies favourite to win the competition this year.
The 36 year old Prison Officer from Leicestershire, blew the judges away in her first audition and got a standing ovation, first for her rendition of ‘Listen’ by Beyonce and then for ‘Who’s Loving You’ by the Jackson 5, and she performed this song in front of 4000 people at Wembley Arena.
However, over on ITV 2 Sam also performed a second song at the request of the judges at the arena that when down very well with the audience. It was ‘Run To You’ by Whitney Houston’.
Sam sailed through to bootcamp and we would be very surprised if she does not make it all the way to the live shows.
