2011: Kendro Blasted By Gary Barlow For Not having Talent at their X Factor Audtiton

In tonight’s X Factor show Gary Barlow was tougher than ever with Kendro in delivering his critique to the duo.

The Take That star turned his sharp tongue on the singing duo at their audition in Manchester.
The boys sang Lady Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ for the panel and although the crowd seemed to enjoy their camp personalities, their bright makeup and their energy, their singing left a lot to be desired.

Judges Comments

After their rendition, Kelly Rowland said:
“I think the vocals need to come up just a little bit…actually a lot, I mean the notes were not on… They weren’t even in the building baby…but I really had fun watching you guys.”

Tulisa added: “The X Factor’s about star quality, you have to have that something that makes you stand out from the crowd and you definitely have that…but vocals, disgraceful.”

However Gary Barlow blasted: “Guys, for me you’re everything this competition doesn’t need…I’m always interested in why someone comes on, and they’re putting lipstick on and they’ve dyed their hair…and it’s because you’ve got no talent at all.”

Louis Walsh said: “Gary, that’s a bit harsh,” before telling the boys: “Kendro, I mean you’re great fun…there’s something very likeable here.”

When it came to the vote, it was an obvious no from Gary Barlow and two yeses from Tulisa and Louis, leaving Kelly with the deciding vote…
She teased: “I love watching guys but I’m going to have to say… yes!”
That sealed the deal for the pair to go through to the next round, much to Gary’s disgust…
