X Factor boss Simon Cowell, today confirmed the line-up of The X Factor 2013 judging panel and as wildly predicted, it includes former X Factor and America’s Got Talent judge Sharon Osbourne.
The line-up also sees the return of three of the judges from last year – Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger.
Osborune replaces Tulisa Contostavlos who was the winning judge in 2011 with her group Little Mix.
60-year-old Osbourne was one of the original judges when the show was launched 10 years ago, but quit the show six years ago after the much-publicised feud with Dannii Minogue.
Sharon – who has had thirty years’ experience in the music industry, managing some of the biggest names in rock – said:
“I couldn’t be happier about coming back for the 10th anniversary of X factor. I can’t wait to give Gary Barlow a big hug, sit next to the gorgeous Nicole, and of course throw water on dear Louis. Yay!”
Simon Cowell added: “Three words I never thought I’d say…. welcome back Sharon!”
Meanwhile, ITV’s Director of Television Peter Fincham commented: “We’re delighted to confirm our fantastic panel, who will bring an incredible combined wealth of experience to our 10th series of The X Factor.
“I know I speak for all of us when I say we’re looking forward to bringing viewers a brilliant series this autumn.”
Also confirmed is Dermot O’Leary who will host the hit ITV show for another season.
