Gary Barlow’s X Factor 2012 Judges House in Northamptonshire Revealed

This year Gary was told to manage the Overs category by X Factor boss Simon Cowell and we believe it was the right. For too many years Louis Walsh have made this category a laughing stock, and finally with Gary in charge this category can once again be taken seriously.

For his judges home location in this series, Gary decided to stay at home in the UK– which is perhaps a first for an X Factor since the series started.

However, as far as British homes go it does not get much better than this. Gary and his X Factor team stayed at Boughton House a stately home in Northamptonshire which is the home of the Duke of Buccleuch.

The Boughton Estate is known as the “English Versailles” because of the magnificent gardens and Grade I-listed park.

Gary’s guest judge was none other than singer and former X Factor judge Cheryl Cole. The pair arrived on the estate in true style by helicopter to meet this year’s crop of Over 28’s hopeful – Kye Sones, Melanie Masson, Nicola Marie, Brad Shackleton, Carolynne Poole and Christopher Maloney.

While the contestants soak up the opulent surroundings, they had to stay focus on the job at hand and remember that only three of them will make the X Factor live shows.
