Britt Love a former member of pop duo Mini Viva, impressing the judges at auditions in Newcastle.
23-year-old Britt was in Mini Viva with her friend Frankee Connolly, and had a top 10 single with ‘Left My Heart In Tokyo’ and went on tour with The Saturdays and Girls Aloud.
However, the group disbanded after being dropped by their record company due to low sales of their last single.
“I’ve always wanted to be a singer since I was four,” Britt told Xtra Factor’s Caroline Flack. “I’ve had a little bit of a success with Mini Viva, we had a top 10 single but we were let go by the record company.”
Britt performed Amy Winehoue’s You Know I’m No Good for the judges.
“I like your energy and I thought the singing was Okay,” said Louis Walsh.
Nicole added: “I think you have some soul to your voice.”
“Britt, I liked your performance, I loved the energy, good confidence,” Gary Barlow commented.
Tulisa said: “You’ve got really strong stage presence and you’re quite a quirky character.”
It was four yeses for Britt, who is now through to bootcamp.
