Lifeguard Jake Quickenden impressed with Kings of Leon’s Use Somebody at his X Factor 2012 audition

The 23 year old lifeguard Jake Quickenden from Scunthorpe went on stage in Manchester and sang the Kings Of Leon classic ‘Use Somebody’ for judges Tulisa, Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and guest panelist Mel B at his X Factor audition.

Tulisa and Mel B seemed pretty excited not only by his talent but also by his ripped physique.

Tulisa told him:

‘Jake, the lifeguard, I’m quite excited by that audition and the ladies seem to absolutely love you!’

Gary Barlow was a fan too and added:

“Jake I thought that was great, I love your voice, I love your image, I thought it was a great song choice for your audition today, you were fantastic well done.

Mel B gushed:

“It was a smashing audition I liked it a lot.”

Louis Walsh said: “Jake it was a great audition, people are gonna like you.”
